Citrus Valley Physicians Group (CVPG) is a well-established IPA in the East San Gabriel Valley serving the medical needs of a diverse, close-knit community. The following are pertinent facts about CVPG:

·        CVPG was founded in 1992 by C.K. Rao, M.D., a family practice physician who is a Fellow with the American Academy of Family Physicians.

·        CVPG is formerly known as the Associated Family Physicians Medical Group.

·        CVPG’s hospitals of choice include Citrus Valley Medical Center – Inter-Community Campus in Covina, Citrus Valley Medical Center – Queen of the Valley Campus in West Covina, and Foothill Presbyterian Hospital in Glendora.

·        CVPG has over 70 primary care physicians consisting of family practice, internal medicine, general practice and pediatricians.

·        The Group also is affiliated with a panel of specialists and sub-specialists who represent the full range of medical and surgical fields.

·        Each of the physicians has well-established practices located throughout the communities of West Covina, Covina and neighboring cities of La Puente, Baldwin Park, Walnut, Pomona, Duarte, Azusa, Monrovia, Temple City, Montclair, Glendora, Irwindale, El Monte, Arcadia and San Dimas.

·        CVPG has been consistently profitable since its inception by offering quality care, physician and patient satisfaction and a team approach.

·        The CVPG Board consists of 12 shareholders. The officers are:
